The Satellite of Love Crew:
Mike Nelson
(Michael J. Nelson)
Mike is the jumpsuited guy who provides
his own brand of what could be dubbed "dry humor" to the
show. The robots get a kick of out messing with him.
Tom Servo
(Kevin Murphy)
Tom is the gumball machine robot who is rather
well-read. He'll often put in reference humor and at times,
his patience with bad movies is tested to the extreme.
Crow T. Robot
(Bill Corbett)
Crow is the golden robot with a high enough
of sarcasm...and a somewhat dirty mind.
Gypsy (Patrick Brantseg)
Gypsy runs the ship while Mike, Tom and Crow are trapped in
the theater.
Cambot
The camera of the ship. Cambot is hardly
ever seen, since, well, he films everything.
The Nanites
The Nanites run about in their own minature
world. They have a habit of extreme distractions though...they've
blown up entire planets! (Oh, the main Nanite's name is Ned and he's played by Paul Chaplin)
The Mads:
Pearl Forrester
(Mary Jo Pehl) Pearl has sworn to make Mike and his robot
buddies suffer as she continues the experiments of her late son,
Clayton.
The Observer- aka,
Brain Guy (Bill Corbett)
Ever since his homeworld was destroyed, Brain
Guy has alied with Pearl. He has mental powers that allow him to
make objects appear out of thin air and can transport people
as well.
Professor Bobo
(Kevin Murphy)
The witless ape has only one use to Pearl-
he's strong enough to carry around heavy objects.
Departed, but Notable Characters:
Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson)
Joel was the orginal jumpsuited fellow who had to sit through these cheezy movies. He created the robots to keep him company and left the SOL during Season 5.
Dr. Clayton Forrester (Trace Beaulieu)
Dr. Forrester was the mad scientist who made Joel and Mike sit through the most horrid movies until the end of Season 7.
TV's Frank (Frank Conniff)
Quite simply, Frank was Dr. Forrester's witless sidekick until the end of Season 6.
