I watched "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" as i was growing up and it was amazing. It not only was my favorite show because of the fun i had watching it but I also took in such love for geography when i watched it. The show gave me a vast knowledge of geography from where my knowledge today iof the subject stemmed from. In addition to giving children a start to geography the show must have had great ratings for every friend I had was watching it. "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" needs to be p t back on the air due to the knowledge it brings to children while at the same time gives them a fun experience to look forward to everyday.

This show is terrific! I remember watching it years ago when I was in 6th grade. Not only was it entertaining to watch, but I actually learned History and Geography facts from it that helped remember stuff when I got to it in school. It would be a sham to take such a terrific show off the air. It's been years since I"ve seen the show (last time I saw it was on Fox Kids) and I just now found out that Fox Family and PAX started playing the show again. I have been searching for reruns of this show since is wnet off the air on FOX KIDS networks. Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego was by far my favorite television show (I got up at 6AM to watch it); while I was enjoying the entertaining storyline, I was a so learning! It's too bad you don't have the support of the NEA. But I bet this show doesn't comply with their Goals 2000 program. Let us continue to "dumb" our children. It's a shame that this country continues to support poor teaching methods and curriculum. I think that "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" is a great show that needs to be on national TV. There is a lack of geography shows on TV and by putting the show back on a national or cable network, it will fill the void. I also feel that they should sh w the PBS game show "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?", which ran from 1991 to 1997, either in the form of old episodes or new ones or both. I hope some TV networks will take these under serious consideration. P.S.- I know from Excite.com's TV section that "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" is on KTVC, a TV station in Roseburg, OR, Saturdays at 11 am.

This is a good show and it deserves to be on the air. It is not like some other shows that some adolescents watch. It is not high on all of the violence that is turning our society into a violent one. Most young children watch a lot of television and t ey can start to act like their favorite character. I think I would much rather have a child acting like a detective than something that isn't even on this earth. I believe that this show has great morals for children and I hope to see it on the air soon

I believe children's TV programming should both entertain and educate. Seems that most of today's programs aimed at children "entertain" with violent or slapstick humor, or fart jokes (visited the "Cartoon Network" lately?). Carmen Sandiego is a most we come change. It combines high action and drama in a non-violent and morally positive way (Carmen may be a thief, but she goes out of her way to protect her foes from harm). I never have to worry about what bad or offensive things my son will learn while watching this program. The side benefit to this program is the geographic and historic education provided. My five year old son NEEDS this type of programming (and I enjoy it, too!). We do a lot of travelling, and it's fun to associate things we see with places Carmen, Ivy and Zack have been to! Most recently, we went to Hawaii, and specifically went to see he King Kamehameha statue on Oahu (where Carmen escaped in one episode). My son and I were hoping to see the episode again (was scheduled for 12/28/99) and **POOF** the series is now off the air. Perhaps Carmen stole the master tapes... Ivy and Zack... if you can hear me... FIND Carmen, recover the tapes, and get this show back on the air soon! Jeff Shein Anaheim Hills, California

I think Carmen Sandiego is a great show. Unlike any other show it teaches kids some knowledge of the world around them. Topics like history, science and english are often used in this show. More than any other kid show this show should still be on the air to continue educate and entertain kids.

Looks like my entry was taken off somehow, so here goes: Please keep Carmen Sandiego on the air! It's one of the best shows out there. Why? It teaches people about geography in a fun way, it has good writing and sometimes even great writing, and it has great characters. The Chief delivers info in a real fun y way. Zack is very intelligent, and he has a great routine in the episode "Scavenger Hunt". Ivy's strong and brave. And then there's Carmen -- the main reason I watch the show now. She's strong, brave, highly intelligent, and has some great lines. S e loves to challenge herself to be the best she can be. And while she's "bad", she's not evil.
