Part 2. They all landed safety on the landing area. "Ouch, sis you know you could lose some weight, you probably weigh a ton!!" said Zack as Ivy was on top of him and he was on top of Fiona. "Yeah Right, Little Bro as though you weigh only 1 kilogram," said Ivy. Both Ivy and Fiona were laughing. "Very funny sis" said Zack sulking. The police arrived and Zack explained them in Malay what Carmen has done. Fiona mean while was looking around the landing site. "What are you looking for Fiona?" asked Ivy. "I'm looking for a Carmen Clue" said Fiona still looking around. "What makes you so sure that Carmen left a clue?" asked Ivy. "I just know it. Ah huh here it is!" said Fiona lifting what resembles a plant and a manuscript. "Hmmm, What is Carmen up too." Said Zack as he finished talking to the police. "Maybe we better start looking for manuscripts first. Player search for any old manuscripts" said Ivy. The Chief suddenly appeared. "Whoa. Gumshoes there are over 500 over old Manuscripts!!!" exclaimed the Chief. "Yes but which one is Carmen after?" asked Zack. "Look this is a plant right?" Fiona suddenly asked. "Hmmm, yes but what has that go to do with any manuscript?" asked Ivy. "Well, The Voynich Manuscript has lots of plant pictures in it and this looks like one of the plants in the book. The book is currently being displayed in the University of Yale," said Fiona. "You know, your really smart Fiona. Player C-five us to Yale!" shouted Zack. Ivy thought to herself how could Fiona know about the clue and even about the manuscript with out even asking help from the player. She must either be a genius...or there was something is more to her then meets the eye. *********************************University of Yale*********************** Ivy, Zack and Fiona landed onto a soft part of the Yale university campus. "All right the C-5 is working again!" exclaimed Zack as he stood up. Up on the north tower was Carmen Sandiego and her henchmen. "Ok, Zack I'm going to surprise Carmen by up climbing the roof and you go up the stairs and try to chase her off to the roof Ok?" asked Ivy. "Got it!" exclaimed Zack. Zack and Fiona ran up the stairs. Carmen was busy stealing the Voynich Manuscript when she noticed the detectives. "Hi Detectives. Zack where is your sister?" asked Carmen. "She...umm...she..." stammered Zack as he tried not to foul up. "What a pity she won't be able to see my greatest achievement yet," said Carmen. "I've got to go detectives as usual. Good Bye," said Carmen as she climbed up the roof. "Perfect all we need is Ivy to surprise her and we got her!" said Zack. Ivy was also on the roof. She was waiting to swing up on Carmen. That sounds like Carmen thought Ivy to herself and she swung up. She was right in front of Carmen. Zack and Fiona were behind Carmen. "We don't know what your game is but you have no way to escape. Give yourself up!" commanded Ivy. "Where there is a will there is always a way, Ivy," said Carmen as she readied to fire her grappling hook. "Oh no you don't!" shouted Ivy as she jumped towards Carmen and snatched her grappling hook away from her. Carmen's hand accidentally knocked Fiona's foot and she lost balanced and fell off the roof. Luckily Fiona's left hand caught the roof. "I see one of your detectives has her hands full. Well I best be going," said Carmen as she picked up her grappling hook and aimed it towards the blimp above her. She then climbed on it and escaped. "FIONA!!" exclaimed Zack. "I can't hold on much longer!" shouted Fiona. Zack quickly grabbed Fiona's right hand and Ivy was holding Zack's body. Fiona used her left hand to climbed up. "Thanks Zack," said Fiona looking a bit relieved. "Fiona, Why is your right hand so cold?" asked Zack. "My hand? Ummm it's cold here I guess," replied Fiona. When all the detectives were safety on solid ground, Zack (as usual) explained to the police what happened. "Hmmm, I don't know what Carmen is up too. This is the first case, when we are in the dark," said Ivy looking frustrated. "I told the police what happened. But now where on earth is Carmen Sandiego?" asked Zack also looking frustrated. Only Fiona had this calm look. "First she steals items that have no connection. Then she also doesn't leave us any clue. Player scan all the stolen items and try to make a connection," said Zack. The Chief appeared. "Sorry gumshoes, there is no connection," replied the Chief. "Anyway, hot tip gumshoes! Carmen henchmen were spotted stealing Nomstardues Manuscript," continued the Chief. "What is Carmen up too? I'm going so bonkers I can't think anymore," exclaimed Zack as he flopped unto the cool grass. "Isn't there a clue from V.I.L.E?" asked Fiona. "Oh yes there is. This just came in from Crimenet. How did you know?" asked Chief. "Lucky guess," replied Fiona. A stone calendar appeared on the grass. "A stone calendar?" asked Ivy as she examined the calendar. "Wasn't Stonehendge used as a calendar in the dark ages?" said Zack. "I believe you're right. Look this calendar is made out of granite. The same thing that was used to build Stonehendge" said Fiona. "Ok, Player C-5 us to the Stone Hedge," said Ivy. "Gumshoes, Tatyanna is around the area and so is Josha. Do you want me to call them in?" said the Chief. "Sure!!" exclaimed Zack as they C-5ed out of there. ************************Stone-Hendge*********************************** Ivy, Zack, Fiona, Tatyanna and Josha landed safely behind one of the pillars. They were currently safe from any henchmen or Carmen's eyes. "Hi, Zack," said Tatyanna. "Hi Tatyanna," replied Zack. "Who's the new detective?" asked Josha. "Oh her. Her name is Fiona, ACME's newest detective," said Zack. "And one of the smartest," added Ivy, much to Zack's annoyance. "Hi, And you are..." began Fiona as she looked towards Josha and Tatyanna. "I'm Tatyanna and this is Joshua," said Tatyanna. "You are very pretty," she remarked to Fiona. "Well not as pretty as you, Tatyanna" said Zack. "Oh so, this is the girl that is supposed to be prettier them me," said Fiona with a sarcastic tone. All of them suddenly noticed that Stonehendge had a little re-decorating done probably by Carmen. The Petronas Twin towers were in the middle and the eye of Odin was on top of it. It looked as though it was used for a antenna. Carmen was in one of the rooms. The whole building was dark except for one room and Carmen was in that room. "What is Carmen up too?" asked Josha. "We don't know yet, but it looks like she wants to contact aliens again," said Ivy. Two henchmen suddenly appeared. "Hey it's those ACME detectives. Get them!" shouted one of the henchmen. "Let's get out of here!" exclaimed Zack as he took Tatyanna's hand and they ran around Stonehendge. Josha took Ivy's hand and they ran the other side. Fiona ran to the middle towards the Twin Towers. The henchmen chased after Zack and Ivy but they left Fiona alone. On the other side, where both groups met. "Well I'm not running anymore!" shouted Ivy and she did a high flying kick towards one henchmen. Tatyanna delivered another to the to the other Henchmen. "That takes care of that," said Ivy. "I think it would be better if we check what Carmen's doing with the Twin Towers." suggested Josha. "Say, where is Fiona?" asked Tatyanna. Carmen suddenly climbed out of the window and greeted the detectives. "Hello, detectives still a little bit confused about what I'm going to do. You will see!" and she climbed back into the window. "We got to get up there but how?" asked Ivy. "Don't worry Ivy. Sand Hog we need a rope and a hook," said Joshua to his creation who had been following them. The Sand Hog shot a rope to the room Carmen was in. "Ok everyone climb up," said Ivy as she climbed up. Up on the ledge, all of them climbed in to the window except Fiona who seemed to have disappeared. Carmen was standing near a machine with a lever. The machine was connected to some wires probably connecting up to the roof where the eye of Odin was. "I don't care what your doing Carmen, but the only place you're going to jail!!" said Ivy. "Ah, but the game has just begun" said Carmen as she was about to flip the lever. Suddenly the door flew opened and outside the door was Fiona! Behind her was a henchmen who she probably took care of since he was unconsciousness. She threw something towards Carmen's hand which cause her to let go off the lever. "Stop! Carmen, you don't know what your doing! If you flip that lever all of mankind is doomed!" shouted Fiona. To be continued...
